I thought it was about time for a "summerish" and "casual" outfit since I often tend to get obsessed with only wearing dressy-dresses here! What do you think about my laid-back look?


I'm honestly not a huge fan of the boho/off-shoulder/blousy cut top trend of 2016. I feel like unless you know what you're doing, you can quickly look like a giant puffball whose shirt is three sizes too huge. However I knew I should try it at least once, so here I am trying it!

I've liked FURLA a lot for quite awhile, because I think the pieces are unique and grown-up, and not many people carry it here. I also had a great experience visiting their store on 5th Ave in NYC... the salesman was really friendly (as a salesman should be!) and I even got a glass of champagne. That sealed my love. So here is my newest sweetly understated Furla tote.


No crazy monogram fabric, no gaudy giant letter attachments... I like this bag's quiet confidence. She knows she is quality, so she doesn't have to shout it. (I want to be like her.)


I really wanted a hat that doubled as a beach hat (to shield my face so I don't get freckles) AND a fancy derby-type hat. I thought this black and white one was striking and classy. I love it! I can't wait to pair it with a sophisticated skirt.


And, big shiny glasses from Zero UV. Too fun, though I felt a bit like "Kevin" on "Sin City". Hopefully my head isn't severed from my body (isn't that what happened to him? Can't quite remember.)


Last thing... I love the gladiator trend. These sandals are so comfy... I do feel like I could follow some Roman tribune (ehehe) on a mission through rough terrain with these! I need a spear! Time to fight!

Today is an oddly cold/rainy day in spring so I'm using this last chance to wear dark colors! Oh how I do love them. I was lazy so I just put my hair up in a messy frazzled up-do.


Saddle bags are everywhere these days. This one is a rental from clothing-rental service Le Tote. I just ordered my dream one from ASOS. Can't wait until it arrives! Eeeee


I love blinging my fingers to accentuate plainer outfits.


I'm running errands all day as well, so I'm debuing my wonderful white Nike sneakers. I'm so glad something so comfortable is such a long-lasting trend. Long live the white sneakers.

Casual shopping look for a chilly Saturday... I have so many new favorites to show you.


First off, following the death of Threadflip, I was devastated... but then decided put away the tissues and try Vinted and Poshmark. I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised... they get lots of action! I can't even count how many sales/swaps I've done so far in just a few weeks. Plus, browsing all the feeds for the perfect something is quite addicting.

WELL, this amazing jacket was one of my swaps! The brand is "Zapa", which I at first thought was a Zara knockoff, but I was perplexed because the quality of the jacket was tooo good! After much research, I discovered that Zapa was actually founded a few years before Zara but only has 45 stores exclusively in France and Belgium. They tend to be higher quality, and more expensive than Zara. Very interesting... I feel so special that my new jacket has such an exotic background!


As for my amazing rings... they are also inspired by thpshop, but I MADE these! Aren't I good?


After prowling the internet for months (maybe even years), I finally came upon these Sam Edelman dream booties. They are perfect, great quality, and go with everything. I could wear them every day of my life!


Just a simple blush bag, big enough to carry all my goodies but small enough not to give me shoulder spasms.


My metal allergies are going cookoo these days, which means no earrings for me whatsoever. During this broken-heart season I've turned to the magic of my Tatzarazzi line of temporary tattoo earrings. I'm headed to a casual day at my office studio in my white-out look. I kept all my accessories (including temporary tattoo earrings) minimal so that all the white stands on its own! Even my silver car matched my look today. All-white is so dangerous though... I'd better watch it with the Chipotle huh!


I love these funky sunglasses I ordered from ZeroUV. The styles as so slick and the lenses so affordable! Def. check out my temporary tattoo earrings from Tatzarazzi here. They last and last for days.

I really fancy dainty jewels and accessories these days. That's why I picked out this barely-visible tiny triangle necklace. Less is more.

I felt like today's outfit is like what celebrities wear on the weekend when they don't care, and then paparazzi photographs them to show what bags they carry or where they're meeting friends. >.<

Today, I went for the ever-popular "military inspired" look, except these wondrously puffy riding jodphurs are actual vintage WWII (I think) US Army officer's breeches. I'd been dying to get some after watching some historic dramas. Those side-flaring puffs are just marvelous, don't you think?! I was lucky enough to find this pair at a military surplus store in Del City, Oklahoma.

Today I am wearing the tomboy-est tomboy fashion possible. I really feel comfortable this way, and as I've got lots of little errands around the metro area I thought it'd be best to keep stress low. [Running around town grocery shopping in heels is hard work! Though I know many hardcore fabulous girls do it with flair.]

If you don't know about OKC-based band Group Fly, then you should know. I love the graphic, urban quality of their brand, with the fact that their members do things with excellence and love for their community. Why can't everyone be like this? You've got to check them out online and visit their new sleek flagship store, The Hangar. It was pimped out by my best buddy Jerrod Smith. I'm an awful friend because I haven't been there to see it yet, but I hear it's based on the theme of the Tuskegee Airmen, which I think is sooooo uber-cool. I must go soon!



With this awesome tee I paired a vintage rosary from Mexico, given to me by a good friend. (Actually I may just have taken it from her and asked permission later...uhuhu)


I've been on the hunt for the perfect distressed, slouchy jeans for awhile now. Amazingly I found this pair on sale at Kohl's for $14. Add to that my handy $10 Kohl's cash, and these wondrous pantaloons were just $4. Holla!

Guess what, this amazing vintage belt is my grandpa's old belt. I'm so glad that I'm able to wear it with pride and give it another life. The carvings are so intricate and the worn leather is beautiful.

It's a bit cold now in Oklahoma finally (almost Halloween) so time for jackets. I got this versatile one as part of my Halloween costume last year but am happy to say that I can wear it forevermore. My bright blue trousers I got at Ross for something like $15.

I'm quite pleased with these leather boots, which I picked up at a popular thrift shop in Oklahoma City. They are super versatile, super comfy (comfy enough for a foot pursuit!) and can look professional or casual. I've been looking for some like these for ages. 


This tiger shirt I ordered as an experiment from Sammydress. Alas the quality is wretched (what could I expect?) so I have to wear it under a jacket so the seams don't show. But I really really like the fun tiger print.

I made this graphic for the day and would like to thank anyone, anywhere on earth, who fights evil. People who protect the innocent and stick up for those weaker than themselves. Who instead of sitting back, going with the flow, walking towards certain doom like blind sheep following blind sheep; stand up and do something. The people who do what is right even if it means giving up their own safety and even their own lives.

I don't just want to be a fierce lamb in the way I dress. I want to be fierce in the way I stand against what's wrong. I want to be ready to instantly compromise my comfort and safety if I see someone in trouble.I think about that all day, all the time. I really hope I'll be courageous enough to what's right when the time comes.

I'm in a tomboy mood today. I love simple, well-fitting button-up collard shirts... they make me feel so cool and fancy. Both my shirt AND shorts today are from a thrift shop. I sewed them both to fit me and I love them!
